Guidelines

These circles will be minimally structured to allow natural expression, however, there are going to be a few guidelines to prioritize everyone's safety and enjoyment. This includes:
Respect and Empathy:
-Treat every member with respect and empathy.
- Listen actively and without judgment when others are speaking.
Confidentiality:
- Maintain the confidentiality of shared personal stories and discussions within the circle.
Non-Judgmental Atmosphere:
- Foster an environment where members feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Embrace and celebrate diversity; be mindful of different perspectives and experiences.
Time Management:
- Be punctual and manage speaking time to ensure everyone has an opportunity to share.
Constructive Communication:
- Communicate in a constructive and positive manner.
- Use "I" statements to express personal experiences and feelings.
Supportive Feedback:
- Provide feedback in a supportive and constructive way when requested.
No Fixing or Advising Without Consent:
- Refrain from offering unsolicited advice unless explicitly welcomed.
Mindful Sharing:
- Be mindful of the time and allow all members to share before sharing again.
Technology Etiquette:
- During virtual meetings, maintain a quiet and distraction-free environment. Video should be turned on and microphones should be muted unless speaking.
Commitment:
- Make a commitment to attend meetings regularly and notify the group if unable to attend.
Gratitude and Celebration:
- Acknowledge and celebrate each other's successes, both personal and professional.
Conflict Resolution:
- If conflicts arise, address them respectfully and constructively. If needed, involve a mediator.
Self-Care and Boundaries:
- Encourage self-care and respect each other's personal boundaries.
Open-mindedness:
- Be open-minded and receptive to new ideas and perspectives.
Participation:
- Encourage active participation and engagement in group activities and discussions.
Updates and Announcements:
- Stay informed about group updates and announcements.
Gratitude and Appreciation:
- Express gratitude and appreciation for the time and insights shared by fellow members.
